HONG GEON-IK HOUSE SPECIAL EXHIBITION
Hong Guneik House Special Exhibition <Objects of the Home – Conduct of Life>
OUWR participated in the Hong Guneik House Special Exhibition, Objects of the Home – Conduct of Life, which ran from December 20, 2022, to January 20, 2023.The Objects of the Home project aims to showcase the works of artisans who bridge the past and present through their craft. Previous exhibitions in the series explored themes such as "Dignity" (품격, 품성) and "Grace" (품위). This exhibition, "Conduct of Life" (품행), marks the final installment of the project, following a continuous narrative across four exhibitions. For this special exhibition, 12 artists and brands presented contemporary interpretations of traditional Korean crafts, textiles, hanbok, and pattern design. OUWR contributed by reinterpreting the traditional and modern pillow covers, crafting elegant yet functional pieces designed for everyday life. The exhibition was curated to offer visitors an immersive and interactive experience by displaying these works in the house's main hall and inner rooms and allowing guests to touch, experience, and even purchase select pieces.
