OUWR x HANBOK WAVE : KIM TAERI
Actress Kim Tae-ri and Hanbok: A Moment of Profound Reflection
2024 Hanbok Wave
For the 2024 Hanbok Wave project, OUWR collaborated with actress Kim Tae-ri, drawing inspiration from the Bullocho, one of the ten sacred symbols depicted in Sipjangsaengdo. Revered as a mystical plant symbolizing eternal life and vitality, the Bullocho motif became the foundation of this collection.
This collection reinterprets traditional hanbok elements, including Dangui, Jeogori, Daeran Chima, Sugae Chima, and Suboro Chima, with a modern approach.
Merging classic patterns with OUWR’s signature designs, the collection presents a refined aesthetic where the past and present coexist in harmony.
Like Bullocho, which represents everlasting youth and timeless beauty, hanbok transcends time, embodying Korea’s cultural heritage. OUWR seeks to redefine the essence of tradition by integrating tradition into modern life. This collection, infused with the mythical energy of Bullocho, invites wearers into a world of legend and timeless elegance.
